I…. ummm….well….so… ummm…oh forget it!   I’ve tried to write this blog entry at least 6 different times today but was needed for this, or had to do that, then there was a super duper bad technical problem arose with some radio equipment (which would bore you to tears if I explained fully what happened) and now that things have finally calmed down and I can finally sit down to write, I’m blank.   (Holy long sentence Batman!)  I’m content with this being my thoughts for the day because really I have no choice but to surrender to this day.  White flag a wavin'...I'm out.  I'm done.  See ya.  I hope you have a great weekend!   Thanks for checking out my blog, you are the bestest!  Club Bonus is frustrated.

  • Randy Houser Celebrates Being Country

    Randy Houser

Randy Houser, who hails from Lake, Mississippi, doesn't just talk a big game about being country, he is country. "In country music, you definitely want to write about something real. When you come from [places like Lake], they're real people. You have a lot of time to sit around and think about life and figure out what's going on. A lot of times, we celebrate that we are country people." And, when Houser was growing up, there was no question about his future. He shares, "I've always been a singer, always been a songwriter. It wasn't really a choice, you know? I didn't make a conscious choice to be one or the other. I wrote songs out of necessity, because I wanted to say what I wanted to say."

  • Jude Law Wears Lipstick on Letterman and Forgets How Many Kids He Has...

Jude Law seemed to be wearing lipstick and lost track of how many children he's fathered during a Thursday appearance on Late Show With David Letterman. The actor, 36, has three children with ex-wife Sadie Frost, and became a Dad for the fourth time this September, when his ex-girlfriend Samantha Burke gave birth to their daughter, Sophia.

But little Sophia didn't cross his mind while chatting Thursday about his holiday plans. "I usually try to take the children on a bit of an adventure," Law told Letterman of his traditions. (This year, he says they're relaxing on a beach.)   When the late-night comedian followed up to ask "how many kids?" Law replies "three," and fails to correct himself.

When Burke, a 24 year-old aspiring actress, announced her pregnancy in July, Law initially disputed the paternity claims. The Oscar-nominated star soon came around, and his rep released a statement confirming that he was the father, and that he intended "to be a fully supportive part of the child's life."

  • Dr. Oz: Cure Your Holiday Hangover With These Tips

    Posted by Vanessa Ryan

    Dr. Oz

US Magazine...Dr. Oz, from The Dr. Oz Show, is Oprah Winfrey's top doc! The vice-chair and professor of surgery at Columbia University, who was the featured health expert on her show for five years, now offers up his top-notch health advice to avoid getting those holiday hangovers.

The reason why you get a hangover after you drink is because booze is a diuretic. If you are drinking too much, you are urinating out a lot of fluid, and all that fluid is what is holding that beautiful brain of yours intact. Inside of that skull, the brain is rattling around because there's no fluid around it. That's why you get terrible head pains the next day.

    How to Avoid a Hangover

The color of the alcohol predicts if it will make you hungover or not. The darker alcohol -- brandy and scotch -- have impurities in them, which is why they're dark. The pure stuff -- vodka and gin -- does less damage. So, if you're going to get drunk on something, that's what you want to favor.

    How to Treat a Hangover

Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate. You need to reintroduce liquid after getting rid of so much of it the night before. Water works, but also try prickly pear juice -- this really works on hangovers. And it might not sound too appealing, but get up and exercise!

Jessica Simpson paid a late-night visit to ... jail! The singer, 29, stopped by the L.A. County Sheriff's Department in West Hollywood early Friday morning to try to bail out her friend, Usmagazine.com confirms.  Her pal and longtime makeup artist, Mary Phillips, was arrested at 1:30 a.m. for being drunk in public after police received a disturbing the peace call at the Sunset Tower Hotel, a law enforcement source tells Us. Simpson, however, was turned away when she attempted to bail her out.

"She was arrested for being drunk in public, and she was not released to Jessica because you can't release someone who has not sobered up," Deputy Aura Sierra tells Us. "They're going to release her a little later when she's sobered up. I don't know what time that will be. It could be a minimum of 6 to probably 8 hours."

Hours earlier, Simpson had posted a photo (above) on Twitter of herself, hairstylist BFF Ken Paves and Phillips -- who worked with Simpson on The Dukes of Hazzard and Employee of the Month and prepped her for her 2002 wedding to Nick Lachey.  She said that she was "sizzlin' with my peeps, pretty boy KP and Lil' Cholita [Phillips] ... look out yo!!"

  • Dierks Bentley Drunk Texts Alison Krauss

    Posted by Vanessa Ryan

    Dierks Bentley

Dierks Bentley will be the first to tell you it's dangerous to drink and text at the same time. Recently, on a long bus trip from Nashville to Iowa, Dierks and his bandmates were having a few Bud Lights and engaging in a battle of who could play the saddest song from their respective iTunes collections. Dierks went for the Alison Krauss weeper "Forget About It" and decided to text her about it.

A few days later, Alison texted him back asking, "Did they hurt or did they help?" Since they'd had a few cocktails that night, Dierks didn't remember texting Alison about their little contest. After a few texts back and forth, Dierks finally remembered what she was talking about and wrote Alison saying, quote, "I'm so sorry. I'm so embarrassed. Yes, it did help because our goal is to get as lonesome as possible, and your music causes that. So, thank you."
