  • ABC's Castle Reschedules Episode Due to Boston Marathon Bombings

    Posted by Vanessa Ryan

In the aftermath of this week's deadly bombings at the Boston Marathon, ABC has decided to reschedule an episode of the series Castle that centers on an explosive device, TV Line has learned.

The episode shows Stana Katic’s character, Detective Kate Beckett, accidentally tripping a sensor on a bomb, leaving her unable to move while others search for the bomber to disarm it.

Katic confirmed the report late Wednesday in a tweet, “Yes. Out of respect. Please note that the chronology will b off.”

The episode was originally scheduled to air April 22. It will now air April 29.

I LOVE this show, watch it religiously and am glad they are rescheduling the episode...it IS too soon.  Too raw.

  • PICTURES: LeAnn Rimes Denies Anorexia, Explains Drastic Weight Loss

    Posted by Vanessa Ryan

LeAnn Rimes says yes, she's had a lot of problems over the past few years but anorexia is not one of those problems.

Mouths started yapping a couple of years ago when she starting losing a lot of weight from her already thin frame that she must have an eating disorder.  In a new interviewwith the Daily Mail, she says the weight loss was simply a side effect of all the stress she was under because of the controversy surrounding her personal life.

"People said I was [anorexic], but I didn't have a problem with eating, as I ate a ton all the time -- I could eat my husband under the table!" she tells the U.K. publication. "But I was going through a time when I just wasn't sleeping -- my mind wouldn't shut off and my heart was breaking."

That heartbreak was a result of her very public affair two years earlier with now-husband Eddie Cibrian.  Rimes describes the period after their affair as a "turbulent" one. "To say I've been on several roller coasters is an understatement," she admits to the Daily Mail.

She says she is now  in a much healthier place, both emotionally and physically. Some of that is because of  here decision  to enter a 30-day rehab program for "anxiety and stress" issues last issue.   The other part, she says, is thanks to the support she gets from Cibrian.

"Now I'm secure about my body, although I'm like any other woman and have my moments of self-doubt. But it's nice to have a husband who tells you you're beautiful all the time," she gushes. "I'll say to him, 'I've gained a few pounds,' and he'll say, 'Good!'"

"It just gives you another level of confidence," she continues. "But being in this business, I've noticed that image-wise, it's definitely worse for a woman."

I feel like she is trying too hard to stay relevant.  I kinda want her to go away for awhile.  I'd like a week to go by without hearing about her and her horrible, stressful life she brough on herself by cheating with a married man.  Not kinda, I DO I DO I DO want her to go away for awhile.

  • FBI Releases VIDEO and PICTURES of Boston Marathon Bombing Suspects

    Posted by Vanessa Ryan

    bombing suspects

The FBI released video and photos of two "armed and extremely dangerous" suspects in the Boston Marathon bombing and is asking for the public's help in identifying them.

"Somebody out there knows these individuals as friends, neighbors, co-workers or family members," Boston FBI Special Agent in Charge Richard DesLauriers said at a Thursday evening briefing.

"Though it may be difficult, the nation is counting on those with information to come forward and provide it to us.

"We consider them to be armed and extremely dangerous," DesLauriers added. "No one should approach them...If you see these men, contact law enforcement."

The images show two men in baseball caps and dark jackets who were seen walking together through the crowd at Monday's iconic race.

The man in the dark cap with a black backpack is being called Suspect No. 1. The other man, Suspect No. 2, is wearing a white cap backward and carrying a lighter-colored backpack.

Suspect No. 2 set down a backpack at the site of the second blast, minutes before the explosion, DesLauriers said. He was then seen walking west down Boylston St.

The public is being asked to call a hotline, 1-800-CALL-FBI, with tips or visit the bureau's website, bostonmarathontips.fbi.gov.

"No bit of information, no matter how small or seemingly inconsequential, is too small for us to see," DesLauriers said. "Each piece moves us forward toward justice."

  • Don't Believe These 10 Boston Marathon Bombing Rumors!

    Posted by Vanessa Ryan

I ran across this on Cafe Stir and HAD to share because it is too good not to!  I'm sure you've run across a TON of rumors on social media, at work, with friends.  What is true and what isn't?  Be informed and read below!!!

From writer Jeanne Sager...It happens each time there's a national tragedy. The rumors come out. The fake stories abound. And for the Boston Marathon bombing, it's been no different. From conspiracy theorists spouting off about false flags to Sandy Hook Elementary School tie-ins and everything in between, the Boston bombing myths have spread like wildfire.

People keep on sharing them, and until they know different, they likely will keep the insanity going. So here's your chance to make a difference. Here are the truths about the Boston bombing, your ammunition to stop the myths and lies:

    1. The Death Toll. As of press time, there have been three confirmed deaths. One is indeed a child, 8-year-old Martin Richard. Reports of two children dead and reports of a Sandy Hook survivor being killed at the marathon were both completely untrue. There was also a rumor that a young girl running for Sandy Hook had died, fueled by a photo of a young runner that's gone viral. That photo has been debunked by the folks at the Joe Casella Foundation, who say it's being used fraudulently. The other two murdered by a cowardly bomber on Monday are both adults: 29-year-old Krystle Campbell and a Boston University student. The latter is a 23-year-old Chinese national whose name is being withheld until other members of her family are notified.

    2. Cellphones. The rumors started shortly after the bombing that cellphone service in the Boston area had been shut down for fear that another bomb would be detonated with a mobile device. Coming from the Associated Press, this one seemed legitimate ... that is until the AP rescinded its report. Service was spotty, but that's because there were so many calls being made and received, many from worried family members.

    3. False Flag. This rumor really got going when pro-wrestler "Bionic" Dan Bidondi, an InfoWars radio host, managed to get called on during a Boston Police press conference and asked -- on national television -- "Is this another false flag staged attack to take our civil liberties and promote homeland security while sticking their hands down our pants on the streets?" Basically, he was asking if the US government orchestrated the bombing so they could pin it on some terrorist organization. Really, we shouldn't have to debunk this one for you, folks. The fact that no terrorist organization has been blamed should tell you that this is ludicrous.

    4. Mystery Man on the Roof. A Twitter user uploaded a photo that seemed to show a man walking on the roof of one of the buildings in the background behind the chaos on Boylston Street, and the theories that he was to blame for the bombings started percolating. While this hasn't been completely discounted, during the Boston PD press conference, officials would only say that they were following any and all leads. The Smoking Gun did learn that the building in question is a luxury apartment building with a roof deck. The man could be nefarious, or he could have just been a tenant taking advantage of the great view on Marathon Monday.

    5. Sandy Hook Principal Dawn Hochsprung Is Alive. The conspiracy theorists still haven't given up on their ridiculous claims that 20-some kids were killed just as a giant publicity stunt. Now they're spreading a photo of Sandy Hook's deceased principal paired with a photo supposedly from a Fox News broadcast about a woman named "Donna" who was near the bomb blast. The two are said to be one and the same. Only the Fox News broadcast about Donna is a fake. Go ahead, Google it. You won't be able to find real evidence of Fox News interviewing a Donna who survived the bombing.

    6. Family Guy Predicted the Bombing. Fox has pulled a Family Guy episode that dealt with the Boston Marathon, but it's not because of some creepy prognostication. There was a bomb in the March episode, but the clip that puts it at the marathon was doctored.

    7. Retweets Will Fund Donations. A Twitter account, @_BostonMarathon, was disabled by the service after it was determined that the message "For every retweet we receive we will donate $1 to the #BostonMarathon victims #PrayForBoston" was fake.

    8. Description of the Bomber. A Facebook page showing CCTV images of a man said to be the bomber and rumors that the bomber is dark-skinned are untrue. At press time, the FBI does not have a suspect. In fact, Rick DesLauriers, head of the FBI’s Boston office, has said, "The range of suspects and motives remains wide open."

    9. JFK Library Bombing. While the JFK Library has been closed indefinitely, the FBI has confirmed there was a fire inside around the time of the bombings at the marathon finish line, not a bomb. Whether the two are connected is still under investigation.

    10. Girl Died Before Boyfriend Could Propose. Rumormongers are once again stealing from Sandy Hook (remember one teacher's boyfriend planned to propose at Christmas?) to describe a now famous image of a man in a red shirt leaning over a female victim on the ground. In truth, the only women who died at the scene are mentioned above, and there has been zero evidence that either had a boyfriend about to propose.

I heard more than half of these going around, did you hear any of them?

  • Truth is, Friends Reunion Won't EVER Happen

    Posted by Vanessa Ryan

Sorry Friends fans...the rumor that a reboot of the successful TV show was coming is not happening.

The show's co-creator Marta Kauffman is denying a Star Media report claiming NBC was planning to revive the hit comedy for an eleventh season in 2014.   Marta says no, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer will not be reprising their TV roles.

"I'm going to clear this up right now -- no, it's not happening!" she exclaimed. Kauffman, who co-created the show with David Crane, said she heard the latest reunion rumor while at a bar with the show's costume designer.

Kauffman added that Friends will never get the big screen treatment a la other TV shows like Sex and the City and Entourage. "Friends was about that time in your life when your friends are your family and once you have a family, there's no need anymore," she explained. "I'd rather people go, 'Oh, please! Please!' than 'I can't believe you did that. It was horrible.'"

Well, there you go.  Straight from the horses mouth as they say.  Are you sad they won't be bringing it back or are you cool with leaving it the way it is?
