A Missouri judge ruled a man who was arrested for robbery in 2000 would be set free because he became a good family man .
The guy was sentenced to 13 years, but because of a clerical error he was never sent to prison.
Since his conviction he began his own construction-related business, married and had children. He helped coach youth football and volunteered at his church.
When his sentence was set to end in July, the Department of Corrections realized he was never behind bars .
He was arrested that day and had remained behind bars ever since.
The judge ended up ruling he was a changed man and set him free.
