Filet-O-Fish Madness Posted March 31, 2010 by Eddie Ybarra

Is the Filet-O-Fish that good?  So good that you would assult people for it?  Well, it was to this guy.  It was 4:30 in the morning and a guy from South Brunswick really wanted his filet.  He wanted it so bad that when the drive-thru made him wait, he was enraged.

He climbed his way through the drive-thru window, shoved an employee in the kitchen, slapped him, stole his meal, and walked out the store yelling, "I'll be waiting for you when you get off work".

He  then left the store thru the main entranced, got back in his car -which was still in the drive thru lane, and drove off.

What's today's lesson?  Don't make a hungry man wait for his fish sammich.

"Dad, the unfinished business is done". Posted March 23, 2010 by Eddie Ybarra

We may agree or dis-agree about health care reform, but this to me was a cool article.  A son fighting for what his father started decades ago.

By:Philip Rucker and Eli Saslow

The political odyssey of health care reform in many ways is the story of Ted Kennedy, and as President Obama signed the historic bill into law Tuesday, Kennedy's gravesite was a place of quiet celebration and poignant reflection.

The late senator's widow, Vicki Reggie Kennedy, spent hours on Sunday at the simple white cross at Arlington National Cemetery marking where her husband was laid to rest only seven months ago. Ted Kennedy's youngest son, Rep. Patrick J. Kennedy (D-R.I.), visited on Monday morning and left a hand-written note that read: "Dad, the unfinished business is done."

And on a dreary Tuesday morning, dozens of school children and health care advocates paused at Kennedy's tombstone to commemorate the man who for decades made overhauling the nation's health-care system his life's mission.

Kennedy's legacy was not lost on anyone who filled the East Room of the White House for Obama's bill-signing ceremony. Members of Congress wore blue "TedStrong" wristbands in his honor and posed for pictures with Patrick Kennedy. Caroline Kennedy, the senator's niece, sat in the front row, with other members of the storied family. Vicki Kennedy walked into the room with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Senate Majority Leader Harry M. Reid (D-Nev.).

Obama received a thunderous applause when he evoked the ghost of Ted Kennedy near the climax of his speech.

"I remember seeing Ted walk through that door in a summit in this room a year ago, one of his last public appearances, and it was hard for him to make it, but he was confident that we would do the right thing," Obama said.

When Obama sat to sign the bill, Patrick and Vicki Kennedy stood behind him. Finally, Ted Kennedy's dream became the law of the land.

VP Joe Biden Drops F-Bomb on live TV Posted March 23, 2010 by Eddie Ybarra

Fox News reports that Vice President Joe Biden maybe dropped an F-bomb during the signing of the Health Care bill today.  VP Biden was the man that introduced President Obama during todays historic signing.  I searched the web to find this video.

Warning: This video contains the F bomb.  Maybe.  Some say it's no F-Bomb.  You be the judge.

Watch these guys break a record LIVE! Posted March 18, 2010 by Eddie Ybarra

This is something that has consumed my life for the last 43 minutes.

These guys are ready to break the record.  The record for the Longest Nose Touch.  The plan is to break the record during Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

They seem to be having a good time.  They seem to be pretty funny too.  While they do this they are also on twitter and chatting with people that are watching live.

The goal is to reach 10 hours.  As I write this they are on hour 6.

I wonder if they get pee breaks?   I bet if one of them sneezes they are done.

You can watch live too.  See below.

Adult programming on 2 children’s television channels?! Posted March 17, 2010 by Eddie Ybarra

From: http://www.rumorficial.com/

Officials at Time Warner Cable were forced to apologize Tuesday after airing adult programming on two children’s television channels.

The mistake affected the company’s North Carolina markets and was caused by “equipment failure,” Melissa Buscher, director of media relations for Time Warner in the Carolinas said Tuesday.

The error resulted in Playboy programming showing up on Channel 553 Kids on Demand and Channel 553 Kids Preschool on Demand.

According to WRAL.com, while the programming menu listed information for children’s shows on the left side of the screen, previews of nude women in explicit conversations played on the right side of the screen.

Parents and viewers reportedly inundated the company with calls about the error. It took workers about two hours to fix the problem, WRAL said.

Buscher said the content aired from 5 to 7 a.m., although spokesman Keith Poston later said the error occurred between 6:15 and 8:15 a.m.

“We’re very, very sorry it happened,” WRAL quoted Poston as saying. “We know parents are concerned. I have a 9-year-old. I’m a dad. I’d be concerned too. It was a technical malfunction that caused the wrong previews to be shown on our kids on-demand channels.”
