Twenty-year-old Hunter Hayes admits he loves the outpouring of female attention he gets wherever he goes. He jokes he doesn’t mind the stalkers at all.

“It is so funny, they will come up during the autograph signings and say ‘I promise you I am not stalking you.’ I am like ‘I don’t mind! I’m honored that you have taken the time to come to more than one show’,” he tells Cincinnati’s CityBeat.

Hunter reveals there are even some fans he knows so well he can recognize their cars in the parking lot. “There is this one girl who has driven thousands of miles and she is always almost apologetic about it, and you don’t even know how much that makes my day.”

What a sweetheart and talk about talented!!

VIDEO: Lady Antebellum Crashes Henryville, Indiana Prom; Raises $285,000 For Town Posted May 21, 2012 by Vanessa Ryan

Lady Antebellum's Rebuilding Henryville benefit raised more than $285,000 for tornado relief efforts in the Indiana town last Wednesday. The band performed a concert in nearby Louisville, KY to benefit Henryville, which was devastated by a tornado in March. Juniors and seniors from Henryville High School were guests of honor at Lady A's concert after attending a special charity ball the band hosted for them at the venue.

Lady A's Dave Haywood, Charles Kelley and Hillary Scott surprised the students at the prom event with a short acoustic set. Charles and Hillary brought up students to dance with them on "Dancin' Away with My Heart." They followed it up with their signature hit "Need You Now," but added a little warning to the song's lyrics. When they sang the line, "I'm a little drunk and I need you now," Hillary followed it up, telling the teenagers, "You better not be!" Charles added, "No drinking in high school!"

As for the dance music played at the prom, Charles requested LMFAO's "Sexy & I Know It," which was played a few times. He actually DJ'd a bit in high school too and often played the early-90s Sir Mix-A-Lot hit "Baby Got Back."

"The teachers always came over there and made me cut it off halfway through," Charles says with a laugh.

Of note, the Henryville High School students got to dance to "Baby Got Back" at the prom with no interference from their teachers.

Earlier in the day, Lady A went to Henryville to see the storm damage, and the new gymnasium currently under construction at the high school. Actually being in Henryville really drove home the reason for this event for Hillary. She tells ABC News Radio, "I think it definitely has much more of an impact whenever you walk the grounds and see the wires hanging from the roof and all of the exposed electrical and the destruction."

Hillary is also encouraged by Henryville's resilience in the face of such disaster, and she thinks the rebuilding of the high school gym is a big move forward for the community.

Hillary says, "This has to be such a ray of hope, you know, and that things are going to get back to normal."

Taylor Swift Is the Top Country Artist on Most Powerful Forbes List Posted May 19, 2012 by Vanessa Ryan

You can think of Taylor Swift as the country music J-Lo. While Jennifer Lopez sits at number one on Forbes’ list of The Worlds’ Most Powerful Celebrities, Taylor is the highest-ranking country artist on the list, at number 11.

The financial site credits Taylor’s lucrative deal with CoverGirl, as well as more than 65 tour dates that raked in more than $1 million a night, as some of the reasons for her ranking. It’s interesting to note that Taylor did out-earn J-Lo, raking in $57 million so far this year, compared to the American Idol host’s $52 million. However, Lopez pulls in more from endorsements and production deals.

Three other male country artists make the list as well, with Toby Keith at number 49, Kenny Chesney at 53, and Brad Paisley at 68.

Kenny Chesney Covers June Issue of Men's Health Posted May 18, 2012 by Vanessa Ryan

KENNY MENS HEALTH

Kenny Chesney graces the cover of Men's Health magazine's June issue, and he shares a few secrets behind his intense workouts in the article. According to USA Today, Kenny tells Men's Health he works out hard so he can keep in shape for his two-hour outdoor concerts this summer on the Brothers of the Sun tour.

Comparing his workouts to his live show, Kenny says, "You think you're sprinting on this treadmill. When I'm up there it's like I'm at a constant sprint at a 15 level. But the thing you have onstage that you don't have in the gym is adrenaline."

Kenny works out about an hour with his trainer and they've been getting him ready for the tour since January. The goal isn't for Kenny to gain muscle. He says, "I don't go in here and try to bench-press 200 pounds."

Kenny admits he can do 300 pushups in 10 minutes though. For more, read Kenny's cover story in Men's Health. Kenny's Brothers of the Sun tour with Tim McGraw kicks off June 2 in Tampa, FL.

nashville on abc

ABC has picked up the new drama "Nashville" for this fall season!  It will air Wednesday nights.  Here is the plot and trailer....

Chart-topping Rayna James (Connie Britton) is a country legend who’s had a career any singer would envy, though lately her popularity is starting to wane. Fans still line up to get her autograph, but she’s not packing the arenas like she used to. Rayna’s record label thinks a concert tour, opening for up-and-comer Juliette Barnes (Hayden Panettiere), the young and sexy future of country music, is just what Rayna needs. But scheming Juliette can’t wait to steal Rayna’s spotlight. Sharing a stage with that disrespectful, untalented, little vixen is the last thing Rayna wants to do, which sets up a power struggle for popularity. Could the undiscovered songwriting talent of Scarlett O’Connor (Clare Bowen) be the key to helping Rayna resurrect her career?

Complicating matters, Rayna’s wealthy but estranged father, Lamar Hampton (Powers Boothe), is a powerful force in business, Tennessee politics, and the lives of his two grown daughters. His drive for power results in a scheme to back Rayna’s handsome husband, Teddy, in a run for Mayor of Nashville, against Rayna’s wishes.
