Charles Kelley told Entertainment Weekly that their worst gig EVER was at a truck stop over hunting season in Milwaukee 3 years agao...Well, our friends at FM106 called the band out on that and they are now going to be playing at the Mobil Truck stop in Richfield, Wi Today (Thursday, Oct 21) at noon!! 

The trio is making a pit-stop performance from noon to 1 p.m. at the Mayfield Mobil gas station, 2545 Mayfield Way, which enjoys the dubious distinction of being the group's "worst gig ever."

The event is a good-natured "apology" from the group for talking trash about the venue in the Feb. 19 edition of Entertainment Weekly magazine.

"It was at the butt-crack of dawn to kick off hunting season," singer Charles Kelley says in the piece. "Everybody was sitting there eating. They didn't know who the hell we were."(1)
