This Cat is a school crossing guard...seriously

Every morning and afternoon at a middle school in West Richland, VA the crossing guards get a little help with the kids… from a black cat.

The 15-year-old cat, named Sable, comes outside every day—like clockwork—before the bell rings to watch the kids cross the street.

And then in the afternoon he knows when to be out and when it’s time to go back in again..

He’s been watching the kids from across the street for about a year. The owner said the cat just walked outside one day and has been doing it ever since.
