I'm way to excited about the iPhone 4S update. I no longer need the Iphone 5. Either way I wasn't going to rush out and purchase it. I was happy with my 4s but now I'm even more happy. It's like I have a brand new phone.
Here are the updates...
Camera takes panoramic pictures too!! yayyyy
This isn't that exciting because If i can't talk now I just don't answer. But this new feature allows you to decline a call and reply with a quick message... 'I'll Call you later, I'm on My way... blah blah blah."
Either way, I could do that on my own. But I guess it's a little faster.
FaceTime Fun. Now you have to have Wi-Fi to make a Face Time Call but now with Iphone 5 You don't need Wi-Fi. This update didn't help out the Iphone4 or 4S. The only thing that Iphone 4s can do now is, receive a call from a Iphone 5.
FINALLY! The maps actually work. The old Google Maps just showed the location and route, but didn't navigate at all. It was horrible and I always got lost. This was the only thing that I missed on my Droid. The Droid has an awesome Navigation so I'm excited to use the new navigation on the Iphon4S!
Never really enjoyed Siri before, and I'm sure I'll never use her again but she now knows sports, Facebook and twitter. Maybe I'll give her another chance. MAYBE. We mostly fought a lot.
Safari upgrade...not really sure the benefits here but it looks cool and sounds exciting.
Finally FACEBOOK has joined the Apple Family. I was wondering when this was going to happen. It was kind of a pain. So now you can upload a picture right to facebook, status and calandar updates.
Passbook! This I had no idea what it was until I read this article. It's bascially a 'easier' way to keep all your gift cards, rewards, flights, hotel stays etc...in one folder. So you always have them with you and don't lose them. I'm not sure I'll use this but maybe. We shall see. Kind of seems like a pain in the a$$.
New and improved YouTube app. This was needed, the Youtube App SUCKS! I haven't tried it yet, but I can't wait.
Overall I'm very excited with the upgrade. It's like a new phone and now I dont have to get a new phone.
