Best 5 minutes in youtube history?

Posted by Jon Henseler on

Move over English bulldog watching Family Guy! Move over dude who thinks he's Boomer the dog from the moderately successful early 1970's TV show! Move over your business card is crap guy! We've got a new contender in the battle royal that is youtube! Like that is a legit question in the subject line. Because I've watched this thing 57 times in a row and it still doesn't get old. The highlight clips! The song parody! The use of Powerpoint wipes and clip art! Honestly I wouldn't be surprised one bit if youtube just has this video as the result for any search you put into it. Lady Gaga's Bad Romance? Pfft. Enjoy this epic Donald Driver montage. Hell it wouldn't shock me if 'captainmugafuga' is actually Martin Scorsese. Would have had his Oscar a lot quicker if he just would have made this instead of Raging Bull. Could have retired and spared us all The Aviator.

The only thing missing from this video is a picture of Driver at the end wearing a yellow blazer during his Canton induction ceremony. If that would have somehow been incorporated I think I would have cried (even more) at the end. Maybe it's already storyboarded out for the sequel on the day he gets named? Has to be. The truly sad thing about this video is that it BARELY has over a thousand views. Like our team B93 cartoon has almost a hundred views and neither Eddie or myself have 19 straight 1,000 yard seasons. For shame Packer's fans. Hopefully this blog can get the word out. So it will for sure go from 1,062 views to 1,065 by the end of business today. You're welcome captainmugafuga. You're welcome.

PS: This video could not only be a mash up of Driver's career but also how bad the Browns defense is. Like how many times is there a highlight of him torching the Browns in this 5 minute video? 17? 18?

Double PS: To whoever seriously created this thing you just KNOW this was an idea that a couple of buddies had at 2:30 am after a case of PBR or something. Anyone who has done any amount of drinking knows that the greatest ideas come at 2:30, and not only that, but the motivation to get them done also. Like one Sunday night in Stevens Point I had to get a term paper done the following day and hadn't even started it. So the next logical step was to go out drinking and deal with it an hour before it was due. But a funny thing happened during that binge. A thesis statement popped into my head bingo bango I typed up a 12 page paper on the spot at 3am. Better grammar than these blogs too. Woke up the next morning and didn't even remember doing it. Probably the same thing here. It's a lesson for the kids.
