So in case you don't follow the Milwaukee Brewers on facebook they've started this month long campaing called 'Ueckerism's' where they publish a different funny Uecker comment every day. So here was yesterday's tidbit and as I read it I notice there's a comment so I thought I'd see what kind of Penthouse Forum style love Uecker was getting Facebook. Then I read this girl Beth say the following 'This dude is annoying! I can't BELIEVE anyone would stalk him! (which someone did).' Ummmmmm what? In the words of Jackie Chiles that statement is outrageuous, egregious, preposterous! I mean to say I was shocked that someone who follows the Milwaukee Brewers doesn't like Bob Uecker is an understatment. It's like watching Baywatch and hating Pamela Anderson. What else don't you like Beth? Ryan Braun? Robin Yount? America? Like I almost feel like this had to be a joke or a bet that Beth lost. In a way I guess I respect her because she kept her comment up after literally everyone else but her on blast for the next 30+ comments. And the only thing worse than having no one like or comment on one of your status updates is when the rest of planet disagrees with you. Again kind of why I feel like it might be trolling but when I went Facebook CSI on her profile I couldn't find anything that would indicate she's a prankster. I did find that we had a startling number of things in common though. We both like the Packers, Brewers, Buffalo Wild Wings, Scrabble and Ellen Degeneres. But who doesn't like those things. I dunno. All I know is that was one of the most unexpected comments I've ever read. Don't worry Ueck! I'd still stalk you!
