Saw this video circulating the intarwebs yesterday and was just flabergasted. Now I could care less about getting into a religious debate about a gay Mormon man married to a woman blah blah blah. As far as I'm concerned you do you and I'll do me. I've got bigger fish to fry like trying to figure out what the hell is wrong with K Rod in the 8th inning to waste time telling people they're right or wrong on subjects like this. All I have to say is that regardless of where you stand on that topic, this couple has to have the biggest guts in the history of the internet. Like posting a blog and a video saying you're a gay Mormon man who is in a straight relationship and opening it up to internet commenters makes William Wallace screaming freedom at the end of Bravheart look like child's play. Like I get nervous when I make a facebook status update during a Packer game. Will people like it?! Will they not?!* So props to this couple for perhaps the most courageous move in the history of a medium that thrives on internet tough guying from the safety of a screen name.
*Nothing feels better than making a pithy status update and getting like 10 instant likes. Nothing.
PS: Love the Blue Man Group shout out at the beginning. Whether you're gay, straight, black or white, everybody loves the Blue Man Group. Everyone.
Double PS: The fact that Youtube decided that Lionel Ritchie's 'Do It To Me' would be a related video is one of the sneaky funniest things I've ever seen.
