Welp this about sums it up folks. I'm on my way up to Lambeau for opening weekend and I'm both amped and horrified. So pretty much an average day for me, only this time there's a reason behind my paranoia. Because make no mistake about it, this team has to deal with two fastballs in the first 100 hours of the season. Late game against the only other team people are picking to make the Super Bowl from the NFC in the Niners and the Bear rivalry game right away Thursday. Like battling Bowser before you even see a Goomba. You jump out 2-0 and you've set the table for the season, but you could also limp out 0-2 and be behind the 8 ball four days into the season. No matter the outcome though I can't wait to get up to Lambeau and tailgate my ass off before the game. If you're going look for the guy with a dirty 30 of PBR screaming 'Go Pack Go' and doling out Ric Flair 'Whooo's' while squeezed into an Aaron Rodgers jersey it looks like was purchased at Baby Gap!
PS: Also the return of Randy Moss to Lambeau on Sunday. Legit one of the worst moments of my football life was when Moss was a rookie and went ham on LeRoy Butler and company at Lambeau. Like I was blessed to grow up during a golden era of football in Green Bay and during my short life no one walked into Lambeau and dominated us until that night. Got Biff Tannoned by Randall frieking Cunningham and Randy Moss. Then that next draft Ron Wolf stocked up on corners like it was a defensive back Y2K.
Double PS: Solid chance I'm tailgating at Lambeau by 1pm Saturday.
