Packers General Manager Ted Thompson will hold his pre-draft news conference during the noon hour today. There will be plenty of media at the Lambeau Field auditorium gathered to ask questions for about 20 minutes but honestly, we're not going to learn very much. Thompson is guarded to a fault and he's not about to reveal where the Packers are leaning come draft day. Even the casual fan realizes where the team needs help. The secondary got torched late in the season by Ben Roethlisberger for 503 yards and a game winning touchdown on the final play, then came the playoff disaster with Kurt Warner firing five touchdown passes, barely getting touched. A successor to Aaron Kampman would be nice, along with heir apparents for the two aging offensive tackles. That's the focus on part three of our draft preview series.
