The Packers believe Ryan Grant is a dependable, durable number one running back.  Despite the belief the Pack is a pass first offense, Grant piled up 1253 yards on the ground with 11 touchdowns last season, cracking the 100 yard barrier only three times.  He fnished third in the NFC and 7th in the NFL in yards on the ground and was a pro bowl alternate.  The problem is, Aaron Rodgers was the second leading rusher on the team with 316 yards.   While Brandon Jackson made strides as the primary backup and showed prowess as a blitz protector, he averaged only 3 yards a carry and caught 21 passes.   Veteran Ahman Green's second tour of duty with the Pack saw him break Jim Taylor's all-time career yardage record but offered little else in production.  He hasn't even been offered a contract for 2010.  DeShawn Wynn was also jettisoned so the Packers will be in the market for some fresh legs in this weekend's draft.   That's where we pick up with the latest installment of our draft preview series.
