Nick Barnett is 8 tackles away from becomming the Packers' all time franchise leader, but it may have to wait until next year. Barnett's wrist injury may be more serious than first thought and there are reports that he will be lost for the season. He injured the arm against Detroit, had his wrist casted, and returned to the game. Barnett will seek a second opinion tomorrow and if surgery is required, he'll be out for the year. The injury is apparently similar to Brian Urlacher's suffered against the Packers on opening day last year.
Charles Woodson was named the NFC Defensive Player of the week for his career high 14 tackle, pick 6 performance against the Detroit Lions. Woodson is also on the cover of this week's issue of Sports Illustrated.
Much of the locker room talk after practice Wednesday was on the blockbuster trades this week, Randy Moss heading back to Minnesota for a Vikings third round pick next year going to New England. The other deal was on Packers fans were hoping they'd make, draft choices to Buffalo for running back Marshawn Lynch. He's headed to Seattle instead.
