It's almost a certainty that the season has ended for both middle linebacker Nick Barnett and tight end Jermichael Finley. Packers team physician Dr. Patrick McKenzie operated on Finley's knee Tuesday and found more significant damage than originally thought. A conservative rehabilitation estimate was lengthened to 8-10 weeks, a similar result for Barnett after his wrist surgery this morning. Even out months from today leaves only three regular season games and the team is now contemplating the inevitable, placing both on season ending injured reserve. As for the rest of the team's injury report following today's practice, Derrick Martin was placed on IR as we reported on the earlier blog, Aaron Rodgers did not participate because of a concussion, Donald Lee was DNP with a chest injury, Mark Tauscher DNP with a shoulder, Ryan Pickett DNP with an ankle, Clay Matthews DNP with a hamstring. Listed as limited in practice were Nick Collins with a knee, Chad Clifton with a knee, Brandon Chillar with a shoulder, Cullen Jenkins with a hamstring and hand injury. Quinn Johnson was a full participant coming off a glute injury as was Sam Shield with a calf injury.
