I’ve had a lot fun being a brunette, but as of this weekend I’ll be heading back toward blonde. I’m fine with my hair color being dark but it seems I am the only one who is cool with it. Co-Workers, friends, acquaintances, listeners and most importantly my girls, have all had a hard time adjusting to the darker side of me. Rather than continue to get annoyed with all the comments I hear about my hair being too dark, I’m just going to give up life as a brunette. I’ll never rule out coming back this way again in the future…maybe next fall, but for now to stop my blood pressure from rising every time someone has a problem with me as a brunette, I’m going back to blonde. Slowly. I’m stubborn. I’m annoyed that I can’t enjoy the new me so I’m not going to rush back to blonde to please everyone else right away. And for the record, I may just keep the bangs too. I’m not sure yet. Club Bonus is Brunette.
