Holy smokes the weekend flew by and wowza was it a busy one! It was literally go go go, hurry up and try to get last minute Christmas shopping done while doing all the other activities we had planned! It was a busy weekend but a good one, no complaints from me. Yet another Monday I’m surviving and I’m feeling pretty darn good about it. Yes the day is not quite over and I plan on crashing when I get home (just like the cat is above), but I am not feeling defeated. At least I’m not going to admit it, I try to never admit to defeat.

On a side note…Brittany Murphy’s death yesterday really shocked me. I guess death in general is shocking to me but I may have been the only one who didn’t see it coming. I guess I usually don’t see death coming though. Carrie Underwood’s engagement surprised me as well because I didn’t know her relationship with Mike was as serious as it apparently was. Congrats to Carrie and Mike!
