Charlie Sheen may be done with the small screen. The actor has told friends that he's ready to walk away from his sitcom Two and a Half Men, the Associated Press reports, citing an anonymous source. Neither Sheen's rep -- nor CBS -- would comment on the report.
Sheen -- whose contract expires at the end of the current season -- has headlined the hit CBS show for seven years, but reportedly wants to turn his focus back on feature films.
The star, 44, has been in the headlines since last Christmas' incident with his wife Brooke Sheen: he pled not guilty to charges of assault, criminal mischief and menacing, and faces a jury trial in July. According to a police affivadit, Sheen held his wife at knife point and threatened to kill her. As wife Brooke sought her own treatment for drug and alcohol abuse, Sheen entered a rehab himself in February as a "preventative measure," according to his rep. The couple have twin sons Bob and Max, who turned one year old last month.
Am I the only one who can't stand this show?
