Darius Rucker and his family are big American Idol fans, and Darius wouldn't be opposed to sitting behind the Idol judges' table once Simon Cowell leaves next season. He tells OK magazine, "I've had a little bit of success in the business. I think I'd be an all right judge." As for his American Idol favorites this season, Darius was sad to see teenager  Haeley Vaughn get kicked off a few weeks ago. He's now rooting for his other favorite contestant, Andrew Garcia. Darius says, "I think he's got a really smooth voice."

I'd love to see Darius on the show but I don't think he's as controversial or blunt as Simon's replacement will need to be.  What do you think?
