The first round nominees for the 2010 CMT Music Awards have been announced, and Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum and Sugarland lead the pack with four each. Voting is now open to the public in this round at CMT.com through May 3rd. On Tuesday, May 11th, CMT will announce the final four nominees in each category, except for Video of the Year. The final four contenders in that top category will be announced at the top of the 2010 CMT Music Awards broadcast on Wednesday, June 9th on CMT. Fan voting will take place during the broadcast, and the winner will be revealed at the end of the show.  Brooks & Dunn, Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood and Zac Brown Band also made a good showing with three nods apiece for the CMT Music Awards.
