Carrie Underwood will lend her talent to American Idol's annual charity show, Idol Gives Back, which airs April 21 at 8 PM on FOX.  She'll be joined by Alicia Keys, the Black Eyed Peas, Annie Lennox, Jeff Beck, and others. Idol Gives Back has made history by raising over 140 million dollars for charity to date. This year's special will help raise awareness and funds to benefit various U.S. and international charities.

Didi Benami was eliminated for American Idol last week, but she did make the top 10. In recognition of hitting that milestone, Didi received a necklace from former Idol champ Carrie Underwood, along with the others in the top 10. Says Didi, "I think it had my name on it, and she had a really sweet little card in there that just said, 'Keep up the good work. You're doing great, and I look forward to meeting you all.'" Didi says it was very nice to get that gift from Carrie, and she thinks Carrie definitely deserves all the success that's come her way. American Idol's top nine compete for votes Tuesday night at 7:00 CST on Fox.
