Lady Antebellum's latest hit, "American Honey," offers a sunny vibe as warmer weather approaches this spring, but the video shoot was anything but warm. They shot the clip at one of Disney's farms in California in the dead of winter. Band member Hillary Scott says, "They made it look really warm. Rolling around in the grass in 45 degrees -- it was fun." The "American Honey" video has picked up a first-round nomination for the CMT Music Awards in the Group Video of the Year category, along with Lady A's other clip, "Need You Now." Fan voting is now underway for the CMT Music Awards at CMT.com.
Fans have been responding to "American Honey" in a big way during Lady Antebellum's opening set on Tim McGraw's Southern Voice tour lately. Even though their fans have a good time with it, Hillary admits "American Honey" takes her back to the innocence of childhood. She says, "It's like, oh gosh, remember when you didn't know what it felt like to get your heart broken, and you didn't know that not everybody in the world is a good person?...I kind of go there every night performing that one."
I adore this song, in fact there isn't one song they song that I don't like, are you a fan of Lady A?
