Kellie Pickler has just released a new single called "Making Me Fall in Love Again" for her self-titled sophomore album, but she tells MTV News a new project is already in the works. Kellie describes her upcoming third album as "very country," saying, "I grew up listening to more traditional country music: Merle Haggard, Hank Williams, Patsy Cline, Tammy Dolly.  So, I'm kind of going back to my roots." Look for Kellie's new album to possibly come out this fall.

In other Kellie news, she tripped and sprained her ankle in Las Vegas in front of a wedding chapel Friday night. She posted a message on Twitter saying that having the ambulance come and having everyone stare at her was "completely embarrassing." The injury was bad enough for Kellie to perform her Saturday night show in Fresno, California sitting down in a chair.

I can't wait for the new album!  I'm a fan fo sho.
