Gary Allan's latest single, the title cut off his new album, Get Off On The Pain, is climbing the country charts. Gary shares that whether he's writing for a project or searching for outside songs, it has to be music that reflects who he is:   

"You know, I think even the songs that I don't write - this one I wrote half of the songs - but even the songs that I don't write, they've got to sound like I wrote 'em. You'll never hear me singing about the tractors or the farms or anything like that just 'cause I've never driven a tractor or lived on a farm. So, everything has to relate to my life, otherwise it just doesn't make sense to me."
