There's more news to report on the closure of Rascal Flatts' record label, Lyric Street. As previously reported, the Flatts will transition to another label within the Disney Music Group as a result of the change. CMT.com reports that Bucky Covington, singer/songwriter Kevin Fowler and Tyler Dickerson will also be shifted to other Disney labels. Sarah Buxton, Love and Theft and father-son duo The Parks have reportedly been dropped as a result of the Lyric Street closure.
Rascal Flatts released a statement about the closing of Lyric Street Records, where they've recorded since their career began in 2000. The release says, "Although we are saddened for the people at Lyric Street whom we have worked so closely with over the last 10 years, we are still very much excited about the new album we are currently making and bringing that new music to our fans."
