Last night on Celebrity Apprentice, former season contestant Trace Adkins – who finished as runner up in 2008 – returned to the show on NBC. Trace served as Donald Trump's "Boardroom Advisor" on the episode, overseeing both celebrity teams as they created image makeovers for country artists Luke Bryan and Emily West. Cindy Lauper was the project manager for the women's team, Tenacity, who was in charge of making over Emily. Bill Goldberg was project manager of the men's team, RockSolid, who revamped Luke's look. In the end, Tenacity won the challenge, with Lauper's charity – True Colors Fund of Stonewall Community Foundation - getting 20 thousand dollars. Goldberg was the contestant who got fired by Trump, despite the fact that Adkins thought it should have been Bret Michaels.
I wasn't impressed with the "makeovers" on either Luke or Emily...I like them just the way they are! I thought it was pretty sweet to see the tears falling when Emily sang "Blue Sky"...Trace being moved to tears is pretty amazing.
