Kirstie Alley apparently wasn’t laughing after Reba took a jab at her in the opening monologue of Sunday night’s ACM Awards. After mentioning that Toby Keith’s restaurant serves fried onion rings, fried mozzarella sticks and Southern-fried Twinkies, Reba joked, “That sounds like Thanksgiving at Kirstie Alley’s house to me.” The former Cheers star promptly followed up with a tweet indicating how displeased she was, saying “Wow. Thought we girls would stick together. Next time you need a fat joke about me, just ask. Mine are funny.” After pointing out that Alley’s last two shows were titled Fat Actress and Big Life, Reba told Country Aircheck, “I certainly didn’t mean to hurt her feelings. If I did so, I apologize.”

I winced at this joke and thought it was way mean.  I don't care if it is true that Kirstie is overweight (duh) it is till mean to make fun of someone overweight.  I also love Reba but her apology is kinda crap.  If you didn't mean to hurt her feelings why would you do the joke in the first place?  It was meant to hurt.
