Carrie Underwood is very busy with her Play On tour and wedding planning these days, but she tells MTV News she's found time to keep up with this season of American Idol. Says Carrie, "I learned how to work the TiVo on the bus, and I watch Idol after I get offstage."

Though she won't reveal who she thinks should win it all this season, Carrie challenges this year's crop of American Idol contenders to inject some energy into their performances. "It seems like people are kind of more laid back...A lot of people are kind of singing slower songs here and there," Carrie says. "I'm kind of wanting someone to really rock out at some point."

American Idol's Shania Twain week continues with tonights results show. Lady Antebellum and Rascal Flatts are set to perform on that broadcast, airing at 8 PM CST on FOX.
