Kid Rock has been announced as the host for the 2010 CMT Music Awards, taking place June 9th in Nashville. He posted a message on his website saying, "All I can promise is I will be awesome." The show will air live that night at 7 PM CST.   Lady Antebellum, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Toby Keith and Miranda Lambert are among the stars set to perform.
