
SUGARLAND, CARRIE UNDERWOOD, ZAC BROWN and JULIANNE HOUGH were part of an all-star choir re-recording "We Are the World" for earthquake relief in Haiti yesterday. E! News also reported that REBA was spotted entering the recording studio, along with the likes of BARBRA STREISAND, CELINE DION, TONY BENNETT, MILEY CYRUS, PINK, THE JONAS BROTHERS, JENNIFER HUDSON, GLADYS KNIGHT, JAMIE FOXX, JOSH GROBAN and many others. . The recording session took place at Henson Recording Studios in Hollywood, the same place the original recordingwas made.
QUINCY JONES and LIONEL RICHIE, who led the original "We Are the World" recording session 25 years ago, were on hand at the session in L.A. along with WYCLEF JEAN, who was also billed as an executive producer. "We Are the World" was co-written by Lionel Richie and the late MICHAEL JACKSON and featured superstars such as BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN, TINA TURNER, STEVIE WONDER, WILLIE NELSON, KENNY ROGERS, DIANA ROSS and many more on the original recording.
