Carrie Underwood sings the National Anthem prior to kickoff for Super Bowl XLIV in Miami

Carrie Underwood performed the national anthem for the biggest audience in TV history at the Super Bowl Sunday night, but she's got another really cool TV gig coming up on Sesame Street. Starting this Thursday, Carrie will provide the voice for the new character Carrie Underworm. The orange worm puppet was modeled after Carrie, and it even has her signature blonde locks and a head microphone for performances. Carrie has also recorded a song, "The Worm Anthem," especially for Sesame Street.

I didn't see Carrie sing live Sunday, I forgot the Super Bowl was on as I was feeling under the weather and turned it on a few minutes into the first quarter.  I watched  her performance online after the fact and thought she did a great job, what did you think?  I've heard rumblings of people saying they thought she was way off and pitchy...do you agree?  ~Vanessa
