The Winter Olympic Games begin Friday with the Opening Ceremonies airing on NBC at 6:30 PM CST, and a few country stars are getting in on the action. Once again, AT&T is putting out their Team USA Soundtrack for the Olympic athletes, and RASCAL FLATTS has re-recorded their latest single "Unstoppable" with new lyrics for that project. "They wanted to kinda change it to more of anthemic thing for the Olympics," band member JOE DON ROONEY explains. "Not just about love, but about you being 'Unstoppable,' like an Olympic athlete, for instance." Rascal Flatts also shot a video for the new version of "Unstoppable" that will air during NBC's Winter Olympics coverage in the coming weeks.
In addition to singing for the Olympics, the Flatts have been thinking about competing in one of the events. "We're actually bobsledding this year," jokes GARY LeVOX. Joe Don adds that they'll be changing the lyrics of their tune "Bob That Head" to "Bob That Sled" as well.
GLORIANA has also recorded a song for the AT&T Team USA Soundtrack, titled "The World is Ours Tonight." All of the songs in the campaign are now available to AT&T subscribers across all their media platforms and to everyone else at iTunes.
