Carrie Underwood is looking forward to playing the film role she has waited her whole life for. She will star in the biopic movie, Soul Surfer, along with Dennis Quaid, AnnaSophia Robb and Helen Hunt.
Underwood shares, "I've gotten a lot of scripts over the last few years. My life has been so crazy busy that I haven't really found one that was worth me parting the sea and parting my schedule and making time for. I got the script for Soul Surfer in and I absolutely loved it. I loved the story. I thought it meant so much." She admits playing the part of Sarah Hill is not "a big massive role." However, she adds, "It's a very important part, and it's a very important person to Bethany Hamilton, whose story it's about. I'm very excited about my first movie, and I feel like I can't lose because it's such a great story and I'm so blessed to be able to help tell it."
