
Sandra Bullock has just made box office history, according to Variety. Her latest project, The Blind Side, has become the first movie in history driven solely by a female lead to hit the 200 million dollar mark domestically. To be precise, the film has grossed a total of $208.5 million, seven weeks after its release. To put the accomplishment into perspective, no other actress -- not even Julia Roberts, Meryl Streep or Angelina Jolie-- has accomplished the feat.
Bullock is having a banner box office year. The romantic comedy The Proposal, which starred her and Ryan Reynolds has earned $178.4 million domestically.
