Being an up-and-coming country artist has its ups and downs, and family man Jason Michael Carroll shares his biggest challenge along the road to stardom. Jason Michael says, 

"The biggest struggle, I guess, would be trying to balance, you know, the time between being Jason Michael Carroll and just being Dad back home, you know? Being a new artist, I have to be pretty everywhere at once – I've got to always be in sight; I've always got to be in the industry; I've always got to be around and that doesn't allow much time - if I didn't make it - for my family, so it's very important to me to try to balance out the time of being, you know, hopefully the next big country star or trying to work on being the next big country star to being the dad and the father that my family needs."

Jason Michael's current single, "Hurry Home," from his sophomore album, Growing Up Is Getting Old, is climbing the country charts.
