Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles went ice skating over the weekend for the fourth time in her life. She explains that Southern girls really don't get that many opportunities to take to the ice, but she's finally learned how to get around on the ice going forward. This weekend, Jennifer thought she'd challenge herself to learn how to skate backwards, and it was a pretty frustrating process.

After about an hour and a half of instruction from her teacher, Jennifer finally got the hang of ice skating backwards thanks to the Miley Cyrus hit "Party in the U.S.A." She writes on SugarlandFan.com saying, quote, "For some reason I tried moving to the music...For one brief moment, I put my hands up. They were playing my song. I felt like I could fly away. Bobbing my head like, yeah. Moving my hips like....yeah." Jennifer closes her blog with a big thanks to Miley and a promise to see everyone at the Winter Olympics next month in Vancouver.

I cannot lie to you...that Miley song makes me want to get my groove on every single time I hear it.  It's addictive.  Sugary and sweet and oh so good.  Am I ashamed to admit this?  Heck no!  O-Kay...maybe a little.  ~Vanessa
