
Hope For Haiti Now: A Global Benefit For Earthquake Relief, which aired on Friday, was broadcast to a global audience, and has the audience numbers to go with it. Nielsen Media Research reports the telethon to raise money for Haitian earthquake relief had more than 83 million viewers, and of those, more than 24 million of the were in the United States. The event also served some 1.9 million video streams during the live broadcast, while replays of the benefit added up to 5.8 million online video streams over this past weekend, including more than 150,000 mobile streams.

Hope for Haiti Now has raised more than 61 million dollars in donations to date, with money still coming in. Meanwhile, E! Online is reporting that Jennifer Anniston, who was among the celebrities participated in the Hope For Haiti Now telethon, has donated 500 thousand dollars to Doctors Without Borders, Partners In Health and AmeriCares to aid in their efforts to help the people of Haiti.
