I never planned on going to see two movies over the weekend but I did and let me tell you, they were both pretty fantastic! I took my nine year old out on a mom and daughter date and we enjoyed some great food and went to see “The Spy Next Door” with Jackie Chan, Billy Ray Cyrus and George Lopez. I will freely admit I did NOT want to see this movie and had no interest in ever seeing this movie and was hoping I’d never have to see this movie but ever since my oldest saw the previews on TV she was begging to go see this movie. What’s a mom to do but suck it up and take her daughter to the movie. And as you already know from my previous sentences, I ended up really liking the movie and having a fantastic time laughing through it with my daughter in the completely empty theater! Yep, we had the whole showing to ourselves and it was awesome, I could laugh as loud as I wanted to and didn’t have to worry about embarrassing my daughter which apparently I often do. Whatever. ;)

The next day my youngest was thoroughly disappointed she didn’t get to see a movie like her big sister did and begged and begged and begged some more for me to take her to see “The Tooth fairy” with Dwayne Johnson (The Rock), Ashley Judd and Julie Andrews. What’s a mom to do but decided, why not? (A six year olds begging is relentless and annoying and enough to drive a mom insane!) I took both girls to see “The Tooth Fairy” and again we laughed through the entire movie! It was soooo funny, really cute and not what I expected at all. Dwayne Johnson I must say is a pretty darn good actor, which for some reason surprises me. He has been in a couple of kid movies recently (The Game Plan and The Race to Witch Mountain) and not only do my girls love him, so do I! GREAT eye candy for mommy!  Club Bonus is movies.
