For last Friday's Hope For Haiti telethon, Taylor Swift selected to perform Better Than Ezra's song "Breathless" from their 2005 album Before The Robots and that wasn't the first time Taylor has tapped into the group's catalog. Better Than Ezra singer Kevin Griffin tells MTV, "In the past, Taylor has done Better Thank Ezra songs live so I knew that she was a fan of the band. Obviously, we were thrilled when she performed 'Breathless.'" Kevin was very happy with Swift's version of the song and loved that the group could participate in the Hope For Haiti event in some form or fashion. He says, "I really liked her and the band's arrangement. It was an inspired night of music for a truly worthy cause. To have a song that I've written be performed in the company of classics such as 'Lean on Me,' 'Hallelujah' and 'Bridge Over Troubled Water' was an honor. We're thrilled with the success of the telethon and feel humbled to have been a part of it." According to The Nielson Co., more than 80 million people watched at least part of the telethon, while the audience watching at any given time averaged 24 million viewers.

I adore Better Than Ezra was super duper happy when Tay Tay sang their song on the benefit concert, it was sweet! ~Vanessa
