It may be hard to believe, but Charlie Sheen and ex-wife Denise Richards are actually getting along these days.  On Tuesday's Oprah Winfrey Show, Richards said she and Sheen are, quote, "in a great place now."  Richards, who has two daughters, ages four and five, with the Two and a Half Men star, did say she endured an abusive marriage with him.  Richards, who divorced Sheen in 2006, said, quote, "There were times during the marriage where there was a lot of verbal abuse."  Richards was quick to add he never hit her, but did say Sheen pushed her.

Richards also said Sheen called her collect on Christmas Day after he was arrested for threatening his current wife, Brooke Mueller.  Sheen told Richards even though he'd been locked up, he didn't want the day to pass without telling their daughters Merry Christmas.  Richards said she was forced to tell their kids about Sheen's arrest after one of her daughter's kindergarten friends mentioned she heard he had been hauled off to jail.

What can I say about this whole debacle?  Get counseling people and keep your kids out of your crud.  How's that?  ~Vanessa
