John Mayer and Keith Urban shared the stage and swapped guitar licks taping an upcoming installment of CMT Crossroads last night in Nashville. They seemed to really enjoy themselves as they first worked through Keith's hits, including "Sweet Thing," "'Til Summer Comes Around" and a stripped-down version of "Tonight I Wanna Cry" for the star-studded audience. Taylor Swift, American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi and Kix Brooks were spotted among the invitation-only crowd.

Before they delved into John's songs, Mayer told the crowd, quote, "It's not everyday you you get Keith Urban playing on your tunes, so I'm gonna enjoy the hell out of this if you don't mind." That portion of the show featured John's tunes "Say," "Gravity," "Slow Dancing in a Burning Room" and  the newer one "Perfectly Lonely." To close out the show, John and Keith covered George Michael's classic tune "Faith."

John and Keith played around on guitar while getting their make up retouched in between songs. Johnny Cash's "Folsom Prison Blues" and "The Pink Panther Theme" were included in their impromptu guitar jams. Look for John Mayer and Keith Urban's CMT Crossroads to premiere in the coming months.

Here's the set list from last night's CMT Crossroads taping:

"If Ever I Could Love"
"'Til Summer Comes Around"
"Tonight I Wanna Cry"
"Sweet Thing"
"Perfectly Lonely"
"Slow Dancing in a Burning Room"
"Say"
"Gravity"
"Faith"
