Taylor Swift has broken the record for first week download sales by a female artist. According to Nielsen’s SoundScan, Swift’s “Today Was A Fairytale,” from the Valentine’s Day soundtrack, sold about 325,000 units in the first week. The record was previously held by Britney Spears for her comeback single “Womanizer” back in October 2008.
