Alan Jackson's home in Franklin, Tennessee has sold for $28 million, which is $10 million less than the asking price, according to The Tennessean. Jackson's house marks the most expensive residential sale in the greater Nashville area since 1997. It is 17,000 square feet of living space boasting six bedrooms, a 20-car garage and a private lake and boat house on a 135-acres. The property had been on the market for 11 months. It's also the first time a sale has surpassed $11.4 million - the price tag on Tanya Tucker's property that was sold in 2007.
Question. What do you need a house like this for? Unless you are Jon and Kate Plus 8 or The Duggers, you don't need all this room. I really don't need to buy anymore Alan Jackson albums or merchandise do I? He's pretty much set with all the money he'll ever need.
