If you're wondering why Josh Thompson's fan club is called "The Chrome Bullet Crew," there's a very sentimental reason behind the name. Josh shares the inspiration for it, which has to do with his late father, who died of a heart attack in 2006:

"You know, I named the fan club 'The Chrome Bullet Crew,' the reason being that I do wear a chrome bullet around my neck. It's from my father's 21-gun salute. So I picked all the shell casings up and I chromed some of them and I wear one, and I gave one to my mother and one to my sister. That's where that name comes from."

Thompson adds a dose of humor regarding the chrome bullet around his neck and quips, "A lot of people are, like, 'Is that a dog whistle? Is that a one-hitter?' It's like, 'Yeah, yeah it's a one-hitter. I wear it on my neck so I can get through airport security a little easier.'"
