Carrie Underwood promised fans a big production with her new Play On tour, and she delivered on that promise over the weekend as the trek kicked off. Fan video taken at the sold-out opening show Thursday in Pennsylvania shows Carrie performing John Denver's "Country Roads" and her own tune "This Time" while standing in the bed of a pickup truck flying over the audience.

When putting this trek together, Carrie knew she had a great album's worth of material to perform in addition to all of her previous hits, but the entire show was put together with her fans in mind.  Carrie says, "I think the fans are gonna be blown away by what we're doing, and I think they're gonna be proud to be fans...they're gonna be proud to be part of the team." Carrie continues her Play On tour Monday night in Portland, Maine with special guests Craig Morgan and Sons of Sylvia.
