Sara Evans has been granted a temporary injunction against her ex-husband, Craig Schelske. A judge in Franklin, Tennessee handed down the ruling Monday, which prevents Schelske from making any more public statements about Evans or the reasons behind their 2007 divorce.

According to CMT.com, Schelske apparently commented about their divorce while testifying about a proposed new law before the Tennessee legislature, as well as on a nationally syndicated talk radio program out of Nashville. The law in question would allow equal parenting time as the default judgement in Tennessee divorce cases.  Evans was granted a temporary restraining order last month following those instances, which reportedly were in violation of a confidentiality agreement signed at the time of their divorce. Schelske is also required to pay damages for his statements. Evans married Birmingham, Alabama sports radio show host Jay Barker in 2008.
