Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scott reveals that she has written a song titled "Suffocating" with Miranda Lambert that will be on Blake Shelton's album later this year. Hillary shares how the writing session came about:
"We actually wrote it on the Kenny Chesney tour this past summer. It was one of the many nights I hopped on her bus and we stayed up late just drinkin' wine and playin' music and writin' music... And I actually sang background vocals on Blake's cut of that song, and I'm looking forward to hearing it. I think I'm actually gonna get to go get a pre-listen... so I can't wait. He sang the crap out of it - what I heard in the studio. It's a real passionate number."
As Scott, Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood continue to spread their songwriting wings, the trio shares that they collaborated with R&B star John Legend in December on a tune. They are all very proud of the song but no one knows whose album it's going to end up on. Lady A also has been talking with Ronnie Dunn about writing together, but they have yet to get their schedules in sync.
I want to here this song like now, sounds like it is going to be a GOOD one! ~Vanessa
