Brad Paisley is dabbling into the world of filmmaking, as he will make his directorial debut with the short film When Mom's Away, which will have its Southeast premiere at the Nashville Film Festival on April 22. The film is a lead-in to the closing night feature, Teenage Paparazzo. According to Country Aircheck, Paisley's film imagines what happens when his wife Kimberly Williams-Paisley is away. Word is it showcases his prankster sense of humor.
Speaking of Brad, he has a secret talent that you would normally only find out about if you join him at home for breakfast on Sunday mornings; however, his wife, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, outs his gift as pancake maker to Country Weekly. Brad's ability to make pancakes in "any shape you can imagine" has made him a hero to their two boys, 3-year-old Huck, and 11-month-old Jasper. Huck often challenges Dad to make his pancakes in the shapes of dinosaurs, and Kim says Brad has gotten really good at it. He even knows what a diplodocus looks like!
