CDs from artists such as George Strait, Sugarland, Josh Turner and Billy Currington will be getting cheaper pretty soon. In a recent Billboard article, officials at Universal Music Group, the record label for those artists, announced they'll be slashing the price of their CDs to 10 dollars or less. They're also going to step up their offerings on deluxe CD packages with bonus content and other features, though those packages will still cost more than 10 bucks. The record label is hoping to bring CD prices in line with the price of digital albums at online stores such as iTunes.
